What a brill story that was. Has Benny spent too long around people with mobile phones? He says 'beep' an awful lot.

Yeah. They even accidently missed off a really big "BEEEP!" on panel 12 after he first meets Cecil. Look, his gob's wide open shouting it. Oh well.
Thanks though MM! Glad you like it!
Unfortunately work on the French book has been intense and that's the last story for a while. A new one will be sent off in the next week or two and then hopefully knocked out at a fortnightly basis (if they still want me... it's been 6 weeks since I sent in my last story. Oops.)

Fantastic! Bennie is really sweet. And funny too!
"This is my friend, Cecil. He's a bee." "BEEP!" "No, not a beep! A bee!" "BEEP!"
;D

Just write in for a back issue. I did that once before and included a cheque for 85 whole pence. It arrived a few days later. Come to think of it, I don't remember the Alan horse strip! Did I miss it or have I just forgotten? Someone refresh my memory please!

*** SPOILER!*** The Alan the Horse story in a nutshell (specifically, a peanut): Derek sees Alan being fed sugar lumps. Gets jealous; wants sugar lumps too! Derek and Lenny dress up as panto-horse. Very unconvincing; on first attempt, Lenny's "tail" gets trapped in gate, rear end left behind! After reunion of costume, Alan tells Derek to go into barn for sugar lumps. End result; horseshoes hammered onto Lenny's feet, chases Derek, throwing horseshoes.
