I don't really have much to say already covered, But I'll sure as heck try! First things first, you're showing improvement. Your work's looking great. I suggest using a different font as well. Basically, don't use ANY of the fonts available on your computer. They're ugly and none of them are built for the job. 1001fonts.com is a place I frequently visit, might be worth a look? Paint.NET's a great program but it has a rather bad record for errors with me, which is quite annoying.... I advise artweaver, personally. One idea to sort out Paw's first comment is character sheets, perhaps? It helps keep designs consistent as well as unique! Also, Derek, that's an awesome ending. ;D
