Personally I thought that was pretty excellent! Nice ideas and simply executed. loved the little touches like "Waspital".
Keep it up!

Very well done, PG! Great story you had there, nice concept, and overall very professional. I can easily see you in the Dandy in the future. ;D

Some constructive criticism: I feel the bubbles aren't realistic enough. They look more like balls or polka-dots. And the yellow bubble is actually orange. However, the Waspital pun was well-excecuted.

The 'waspital' pun was brilliant..Just pure DC Thomson humour.

I'm working on a Christmas special comic...thought I'd share a few pages on here. Constructive criticism welcome as always img379.imageshack.us/img379/9969/stingernf1.pngStinger the Wasp's Christmas party. I think I could have put a bit more detail into this one - it has 5 panels on just one page img230.imageshack.us/img230/467/gangsj5.pngMy new characters - The Gang. Not a Christmas one, just one I'm including. I don't like the character's arms on the final panel, though. Probably (IMO) the most rushed out of the four. img399.imageshack.us/img399/7650/pupze8.pngHowler the Pup decorates. The only one I have done in colour (the inside pages are all b&w, this is the back cover). I was experimenting with the font, didn't turn out too good. img392.imageshack.us/img392/2848/ginkpe9.pngThe Ginks (with a new look). This is my favourite out of the four. The split down the middle is because this crosses over two pages.

Hardly fits on the page now! You could have just linked to them, you know. Anywho...
Stinger the Wasp: You need to work on your character models. All the bees look identical too each other, so it's hard to tell who's who.
The Gang: Not bad, agree with you on the arms.
Howler the Pup: Possibly my favourite! Reminds me of the light humor of Fred Basset. Try a different font next time (even Comic Sans! That's what it was supposed to be used for!)
The Ginks: Um. Is that supposed to be a pig and a monkey?

Oooh, what do you use to do the toning with? Is that the right term? I like all of these. Just one question; why does the first drawing of Stinger look like he had a nose-bleed?

I think he flew into the Christmas tree and got a needle stuck in his nose...

[ Paws] Stinger the Wasp: You need to work on your character models. All the bees look identical too each other, so it's hard to tell who's who. Will do.[ Paws] Howler the Pup: Possibly my favourite! Reminds me of the light humor of Fred Basset. Try a different font next time (even Comic Sans! That's what it was supposed to be used for!) Thanks! I hate Comic Sans, so I'll choose a different one! [ Paws] The Ginks: Um. Is that supposed to be a pig and a monkey? Yep...they're called Munky (the only non-human character which talks) and Pigasus (but he can't fly).[ Menaceman] Oooh, what do you use to do the toning with? Paint.NET (download here)[ Menaceman] Is that the right term? I think so...?[ Menaceman] Why does the first drawing of Stinger look like he had a nose-bleed? I don't know...I think it's either a mouse slip or a scanner blip.

Nice work! With the ginks, you could have him break the golden star and his mate says "We'll never get a replacement now, it's Christmas eve and all the shops are shut!". In the last panel the goldfish is on top of the tree and the chap is saying. "Well, he's golden isn't he?". Or is that rubbish?
