Which do you prefer? I personally find the first and second quite impressive, both animation wise and with how faithful they were, although the second incorporated some GREAT music into it (Beano rap=win) The Beano Interactive DVD though, in my personal opinion, was quite poor.
I'm basing this off of the trust that some of you do have them. XD

I certainly do! I was bought the interactive DVD as a christmas present one year and I got the other two as part of a three disc box set thing for £6.00. Allstars is my favourite as its the first one I ever watched on video. I used to rent it regularly from our local video store. I LOVE the music at the beginning.

Yup. Allstars and Videostars originally came out on video yonks ago. They are now on DVD. The interactive DVD is a more recent thing.

At arguably the peak of Beano popularity...early nineties, I think it was. Both were very admirable considering...
The interactive DVD though.. well... *cough*

I have all threeeee!! The animation on the Interactive one was extremely poor, and why use more than one artist? However, it still had the cartoons from the VideoStars on it. I found quite a few games very challenging, esp. Gnasher digging one.
AllStars/Video it is.
Hang on...when the Beano Video became a DVD, it became Beano AllStars. Why isn't Beano Videostars now something random like DVDStars?

As of yesterday I have all three. XD The animation WAS horrible...It's quite a shame. We can see from past examples the Beano has great potential on the small screen. Well I think 'video' is more a term for just the cinematics rather than the format it's in really...nowadays anyway. And hey, to be fair, videostars sounds a LOT better. The main criticism I had for Videostars was certain colouring mistakes I noticed. Curly's hair was coloured black in the Beano rap! I liked the fact Videostars sorta dealed with stuff kids know about. School inspections, first kiss (PffhhahaDennis), etc. and lets face it. What young child hasn't got their stuffed animals and tried to set them free? Not to mention it was in places (rather like the Allstars) Pretty funny in my opinion! Billy Whizz in Videostars was great! And the intro. I LOVE that intro. ;D

It was a great miniclip. ;D Only Billy could make doing something as simple as fetching some Ice so funny.

Some people on here with comics/annuals from around 1988-1992 may notice that most of these were just stories taken from there!! Thankfully, I don't think Billy was

I remember finding an old Beano that had the "Lake Beautiful" Bash Street Kid story in it in. I hadn't realised until that point that the stories had been taken from the comic.

I personally thought that was good...meant it was still quite faithful to the comic.
