Yes, apparently today the Large Hadron Collider www.en.wikipedia.org/Large_Hadron_ColliderIs due to have Protons piped through it for the first time preparing for the complete launch on the 10th of September. Many believe a black hole may be created partly due to tie ins with Nostradamus' predictions. (http://www.virginmedia.com/digital/science/nostradamus.php) You believe it? I don't. They've probably been doing it for hours already... But on the 10th Next month? Who knows.

Hasn't Nostradamus predicted the end of the world would have happened about 6 times already by now?

That's why I laughed at that bit. It's the sixth time in a row at LEAST, so... It's been on for an hour and 15 minutes now....

Apparently it might cause teeny black holes which exist everywhere anyway, or something. There's a chap kicking up a fuss who always kicks up a fuss when these sort of things get switched on. Watched a programme about how they made it the other day... IT'S HUUUGEE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did he carry a sign saying "THE END IS NIGH"? Did he wear a tinfoil hat? Incidently, I read that tinfoil can actually amplify radio waves and other such forms of electromagnetic radiation, depending on the frequency, so they won't provide much protection anyway...
