I feel like a traitor posting this, but since we are all such big sheep fans, I had to share. www.shaunthesheep.com/He's nowhere near as good as Derek, but I could see them being pals..looks like they would be able to share a joke or two together. In fact I'm sure that Derek must have been the inspiration behind Shaun. The web site's good, but the program's even funnier..check out CBBc if you get the chance. Just don't let it make you late for work like me...

I knew about Shaun getting his own show for the last 3 years, since reading this article below. (This was roughly about the time Derek made his debut, I think) news.bbc.co.uk/cbbcnews/hi/newsid_3680000/newsid_3684400/3684466.stmThere seems to be some similarities between Shaun and Derek, except Derek ends up in hospital every other week. I wonder if they know each other...

Ooo has anybody else discovered that if you click on the piles of dung in the top pictures you get jokes?

Maybe that's why it's dung you click on to get them?

Scarily enough, I know one of the writers for Shaun, so I've known about his show for two or three years too.

Unfortunately, they're all terrible. I got the Wallace and Gromit 2007 book, and guess what! In the Shaun the Sheep section, there is a FUNNY joke! Why did the sheep say "Moo"? It was learning a new language!

I doubt Wallace or Gromit will make an appearence in it Mooney. I'm pleased none of the characters speak but I find the farmer's mumblings odd.
